A draw before Christmas.

December 17 2011 | Mens 8th XI vs Worcester | 2-2 Draw

Lichfield Brock Badgers played a drawn match against a very strong Worcester side.  These two club's always have fantastically even matches and this was equal to any previous games.  Worcester took an early lead and palyed well throughout the 1st half with several more chances.  After a half time team talk Lichfield began to play better but were rocked back by yet another goal however Oliver Mason with an absolute rocket of a reverse stick shot that hit the roof of the net and Matt Fryer finishing of a beautiful move involving sevral players levelled the match to keep the Brocks excellent run going.  Player of the match was Jamie Wilkinson who found he could defend even from centre forward.
