Junior

The Junior Section of Lichfield Hockey Club began over 20 years ago, working with children on Sunday mornings, it has now grown in size with over 200 members aged from 4 to 18 years, as well as a dedicated team of coaches, assistants and parental helpers.

All players have access to teams the under 14's, under 16’s and Under 18’s are entered for the England Hockey Cup, the Under 10’s and Under 12’s play in the Staffordshire minis and enter the National competitions, we sent a team of Under 9’s to the National tournament at Beeston Hockey Club organized by England Hockey in 2010 .  The youngsters primarily come to training to have an enjoyable experience but gain immense skills both in hockey and for life.  Several of the youngsters go on to represent the District (JDC), the county (JAC), the Midlands (JRPC) or their country of birth.
