Club History
The club was formed in 1961 originally playing on the grass at the Birmingham Road ground. It has now moved, in 2002, to new premises on Eastern Avenue, Collins Hill. In October 2008 the club opened it's own astro, a sand dressed pitch, which was funded mainly by Sport England and England Hockey with funding also by local councillors, The Arts and Sports foundation, Staffs Environmental Trust, Swinfen Broun Trust and a lot of hard work and fundraising by club members.
The club, at the moment run nine men's sides and six ladies teams competing regularly each saturday suring the winter. With three ladies teams and two men's sides playing in summer leagues and an internal summer league for all of the other players.
