Welcome
Lichfield Hockey Club was formed in 1961 at the old Birmingham Road Ground. The club moved in 1999 to Eastern Avenue, with all teams now playing on astro pitches at Burntwood and King Edwards Leisure Centres, however with the opening of their own astro at their Eastern Avenue Centre has been a huge incentive. The club now runs 9 Men’s sides and 6 Ladies teams.

Whether you have never played hockey before, whether you are returning to hockey after a break, or whether you are a junior or senior international looking for a club environment in which to perfect your skills and work towards your representative ambitions we hope to be able to meet your needs in a friendly and sociable atmosphere.
Men's Hockey
Lichfield Men’s Hockey teams play in the Midlands with the 1st XI Men in the Midlands Premier Division and hoping to return to the National League. All players have access to high quality coaching on the astro at Eastern Avenue. The 3rds, 4ths,5ths and 6ths also play in Midlands league whilst the 7ths’ 8ths and 9ths are Badgers development teams.
Women's Hockey
Lichfield Ladies Hockey teams play in the Midlands with the 1st XI Ladies in the Midlands Feeder Division all players have access to high quality coaching once a week on the astro at Eastern Avenue. The 2nds, 3rds, 4ths and 5ths are in Staffordshire Divisions and the 6th XI play in a Badger Division.
Junior Hockey
The Junior Section of Lichfield Hockey Club began over 20 years ago, working with children on Sunday mornings, it has now grown in size with over 200 members aged from 4 to 18 years, as well as a dedicated team of coaches, assistants and parental helpers.
